Desert Schools FCU set to be the first credit union to use Finivation’s new voice biometrics technology – designed to quickly verify a person’s identity remotely to save time, reduce costs, and improve the member experience.

NEW YORK – July 28, 2011 – Financial technology provider Finivation Software has officially launched its anticipated voice biometrics solution, StrongVoice, to enhance credit unions’ security measures. Desert Schools Federal Credit Union (Phoenix, AZ) will be the first financial institution to implement the new software that is designed to help quickly and cost-effectively verify a person’s identity remotely. Desert Schools will begin using StrongVoice this fall (2011).

New CUSO Gathers Teammates to Tackle Lending Crunch

NEW YORK – November 10, 2010 – When practice fields across the land filled in August with players prepping for the upcoming new school year, a lending CUSO had already hit the field with a team of its own.

Credit Union Student Choice has only been in business for three years, but the turnkey provider of college student lending services already is handling around 15,000 loans a year.

The Washington CUSO–run by Callahan & Associates senior managers and owned by about 40 credit unions–has only about a dozen full-time employees but counts on several partners to make the peak lending season work for the more than 160 credit unions it serves.

PSCU & Finivation Renew Development Partnership for 3 More Years

NEW YORK – September 22, 2010 – Financial technology provider Finivation Software (http://www.finivation.com), formerly TechRim ITE, and PSCU Financial Services (http://www.pscufs.com) have renewed their software development and support agreement for another three years commencing September 2010. This new contract calls for Finivation to continue assisting the PSCU Financial Services engineering team with enhancing and supporting lending solutions, account opening solutions, and contact center applications.

Finivation also supports PSCU Financial Services on core integration projects and the company has licensed Finivation’s Shout! alerts application which allows PSCU member credit unions to sign up for email or SMS alerts for system and maintenance notices.

Finivation Provides Donor Dialogue with Security Scan Service

NEW YORK – July 22, 2010 – Financial technology provider, Finivation Software, (http://www.finivation.com) is providing a security review and application scanning service to Donor Dialogue
(http://www.donordialogue.com); Finivation’s client that offers software and services to blood centers throughout the United States. Using IBM’s AppScan product line, Finivation worked with Donor Dialogue to scan and ensure their DRM (Donor Relationship Manager) application met the company’s rigorous internal and external security standards.

TechRim ITE Changes Name to Finivation to Escape Vegemite

NEW YORK – July 16, 2010 – After spending nearly seven years as TechRim ITE, the financial technology provider has changed its name to Finivation Software (http://www.finivation.com) to better reflect its market focus.

“As a company of software engineers the firm’s name has not been a priority,” explains Brian Bodell, CEO of Finivation Software. “However, after several people confused our URL (www.techrimite.com) with a food product from Australia [Vegemite] we finally decided to come up with a new name that better highlights what we do and what market we serve. A novel thought, I know.”
